Can I bid/order anything I want?

There are items we cannot handle due to laws and treaties such as narcotics, pornography, counterfeited goods, pirated items, hazardous materials, living animals, valuable goods, IATA Airline hazardous materials. Please refer to the Japan Post's page below. They cannot be shipped by courier Service, either. https://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/use/restriction/index_en.html .

An item can be confiscated upon importing to your country even if it has no problem in Japan. Please review the laws and treaties of your country before purchasing. This Japan Post's page below may help you. https://www.post.japanpost.jp/cgi-kokusai/index_en.php (Japanese ver. only).

Although food and drink are not entirely prohibited for export, but we suggest that the User should not order them. We know lots of trouble in past. Definitely we cannot ship chilled or frozen foods.

Can you find an item for me?

Please use keywords search on MyJapanBrand.com.

The keywords for search should be in Japanese?

MJB system translates English keywords in Japanese and process searching. Search by Japanese keywords is available as well.

Can you translate the description of an item?

We do not do translation. But our multilingual machine translator on MJB can help you. MJB doesn't take no responsibility about the translation result.

In the description, the seller want to be asked the availability. What shall I do?

Lots of the sellers don't have any stock and don't accept cancel you bid/order even if the item is back order and taking a several months to deliver us. Ask from "Contact us".

Can you disassemble the item and get rid of the unwanted parts?

We won't disassemble or get rid of the part of the item. But we can ask the seller can do it or not. Ask from "Contact us".

The auction will end in an hour. Can I make a request for a last-minute bid?

No. Manual bidding only. Real time bidding or snipe bidding is not available.

I have been overbid. Can I raise the maximum bid?

Manual bidding only. Give us enough time to place a bid. Basically, we place a bid in our business hours.

It seems that there are some dishonest sellers on YAJ who do not ship items. What can be done?

Please review the seller's evaluation carefully. If it has low ratings, it is better to forgo no matter how inexpensive the item is offered.

The item was won at the price lower than the maximum bid I had entered. Can I get back the difference?

Yes. The adjusted amount will be captured from PayPal authorized amount. Thus there is no risk of overpaying.

If an item could not be won on YAJ, what will happen to the payment I made?

We refund you the full amount.

What fees does each service charge?

After paid 1st charge and 2nd charge, I don't need pay anything else?

No fees from MJB. But customer should pay duty and taxes if the customs in your country requires.

Can I pay by card? How about bank transfer?

No, payment has to be made via PayPal only.

PayPal currency conversion fee is too much. Any way to avoid?

If you make an international payment using your PayPal balance, PayPal's conversion rate will apply. If you make the payment using your credit or debit card, you can choose between your card issuer's conversion rate and PayPal rate.

Here's how to change your conversion rate when you're making a payment:
1. Click "Other Conversion Options" on the "Review Your Payment" page.
2. Choose "Bill me in the currency listed on the seller's invoice."
Select this option to ensure that your credit card is charged in the currency you want.

If you choose to use PayPal's conversion rate, you can see the rate right away on the payment page.

If you choose to use your card issuer's rate, the conversion rate will be determined by your card issuer and we won't be able to display the rate to you at the time of payment. To find out about the exact rate, you'll need to check your card statement later or contact your card issuer directly.

Note: If you use American Express, you can only use your card issuer's conversion rate. If you use Discover card, you can only use PayPal's conversion rate.

And sometimes buyer cannot select based on that country's policy.

Shipping / Delivery

Can I use my own forwarder/ shipping company?

If you would like to use your own forwarder or shipping company, we have to charge you the cost for
1. Delivery cost from us to the address you suggested.
2. Irregular handling charge JPY 5,000.
3. Japanese sales Tax (on 1st charge and 2nd charge)
We won't be a shipper or issue an invoice.

What should I do to consolidate a purchase from Japanparts?

Write "By MJB Free Address Service" in the Comments section on the Japanparts order form. Purchase from Japanparts.com is categorized in MJB Free Address Service and MJB Free Address Service fees will be occurred.

How much does the international shipping cost?

We don't tell you the exact international shipping fee until the packing done. Try MJB SHIPPING FEE CALCULATOR. This might give you some idea. But we don't guarantee the calculator result. Every courier has each regulations. Depends on your address or the items.

How much does packing material cost?

If it is a standard-size box, it's free. Because we can use one from our warehouse. But, for example, if you buy a used hard top, it is unlikely that it comes with a box, not to mention the one that can be shipped internationally. To pack a hard top for MR-S, we need a box at 156x135x53cm. A box in such size has to be specially ordered. In the case of wood package costs JPY24000 at least. Before your purchase such a big/heavy item, let us know.
